Greenham Common project receives funding

Rachael Miles and Clare Johnson are involved in a project called ‘The Living Legacy of The Greenham Women – A Political Heritage Project’, which has recently secured funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund. The aim of the project is to celebrate the women of Greenham Common and ensure that their experiences are recorded as an oral history before they are lost forever. The project is led by Kate Kerrow (The Heroine Collective) and Rebecca Morden (Scary Little Girls) and will result in an archival website, which will hold testimony from Greenham Women, and a pop-up exhibition. Rachael and Clare are designing the exhibition and providing training in interviewing and research methods for the volunteers who will be doing the interviews.
