On Thursday 14th March 2019 at Royal Albert Memorial Museum and Art Gallery (RAMM) in Exeter, Dr Sue Tate will be in conversation with Director of Tate Modern, Francis Morris.
Frances Morris has had a major impact on curatorial practice at Tate Modern, bringing a global perspective to and embedding women in the narrative of Modern and contemporary art. She will be talking about her achievements in working towards greater gender parity and the challenges still to be faced.
Dr Sue Tate is a Freelance Art Historian and a Visiting Research Fellow for the VCRG. She will be introducing Francis Morris for the event which accompanies RAMM’s ‘Women Artists’ exhibition.
